What to expect
Walking Street is a short, dense strip at the south end of Pattaya Bay. In the evening it is closed to vehicles and fills with music venues, bars, clubs, and outdoor seafood restaurants.
It is also a practical landmark for Bali Hai Pier and the south end of Beach Road. Daytime is quieter; most venues open later.
Crowds peak after 21:00. Keep bags zipped, agree menu prices before ordering at outdoor seafood spots, and use marked transport when leaving late.
Getting there
South end of Beach Road / Bali Hai area. Songthaews and taxis stop near the entrance arch. From central Beach Road it is a walkable stretch along the bay.
