Phoenix Gold Golf and Country Club opened in 1993. Dennis Griffith designed the three nines, Mountain, Lakes, and Ocean. The club hosted the 2015 All Thailand Golf Championship. In 2014 Pirapon Namatra reworked greens, bunkers, tees, fairways, and drainage, and re-routed the Lakes nine. The property covers 1,000 rai, which is 160 hectares. An 18 hole green fee is THB 3,000 on a weekday and THB 3,500 on a weekend. The caddie is THB 400 and a pretty caddie is THB 800. The cart is THB 700. A 27 hole round is THB 4,100 on a weekday and THB 4,900 on a weekend, with a caddie at THB 600, a pretty caddie at THB 1,200, and a cart at THB 1,050. Nine more holes after 18 are THB 1,000 on a weekday and THB 1,300 on a weekend. Twilight 9 holes after 3:00 PM Monday to Thursday, excluding public holidays, are THB 700, and after 4:00 PM every day they are THB 500. The club is about 15 km from central Pattaya, 134 km from Suvarnabhumi, and 158 km from downtown Bangkok. Hours are daily 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A 30 minute lesson is THB 1,000 and a 55 minute lesson is THB 1,800. Club hire for a Taylormade or Titleist set is THB 1,300, shoes are THB 300, and an umbrella is THB 200.
